Is everyone really bored of the poker based Warming Ups? I'm not as I am being smug at having a vague understanding of the game. Well the rules are hardly complicated :P They are when you're in the middle of a phone conversation, very drunk and can't remember what an ace is called.

This is probably one of the funniest things I've read all year. Oh, and I love poker. Even though I'm shit at it (70 quid down so far). Rich's tales of winning fortunes on poker are both a torment (if he can do it, why can't I?) and an inspiration.

well since you've done most of the work for me... did he sign himself off as Jesus or was it just an expletive caused by the terrible implications? thats what I want to know. You were right Keir it really was quite good. Though to be a bit pedantic there is a point to having more than one razor.

i'm not sure about the jesus thing, he's not been calling himself jesus generally though i remember billy connolly speculating that the suggestion was that the hair hid when it saw the blade coming then popped back out when it passed and the second got it there's no need for four blades though is there

i'm sorry pliny, today rich has made me look like an idiot and made you look like a wise man today's warming up entry is basically about how he thinks he will get 10 minutes of stand-up out of yesterday's entry and even that it will be a sixth of his next edinburgh show...
