Yeh TMWRNJ was and is hilarious. I spent years quoting the Sunday Heroes sketches to random people while pissed at uni. A load of personal favourites: "Cress! Too tempting even for Jesus!" (and "Because cress contains no nutritional value whatsoever!") The fruit catcher. The last supper. Judas. Lazarus. All the Sunday Heroes. Lazarus: "What do you think you're playing at Jesus? I was in paradise, Heaven, you understand? Now you've brought me back to stinking Biblican times!" "I am wanking as I write this." (can you write "wanking" on this forum?) (just writing that has made me laugh for about 2 minutes). "I made this! No you didn't I did! I thought of the idea! I thought of the ide ages ago" (etc). Obviously all the perennial aahhhhh, not aahhhhh, it's not an aahhhhh situation stuff. The ongoing joke about that poor man's disintegrating life in When Things Fall Down. Ha ha ha ha ha.
