This was quite possibly the best birthday present I ever recieved (after the two wheeler scooter, but then nothing could beat that).

I had to fork out for my copy myself. It was worth it though. Educational and funny.

I still haven't been able to read the account of a circumcision. It made me feel physically sick.

But you're a girl! What do you have to be squeamish about? Or is there something you're not telling us? :P

I'm not particularly squirmish, so hadn't thought about it. I suppose it is fairly gruesome.

I did once read an account of female circumcision which although truly disgusted me (not to mention angered) the language the woman uses is so emotive it makes for very difficult reading. Jebus, don't make me get serious.
