RICHARDS GUESTBOOK
Has anyone been reading Richards guestbook lately?? Its starting to remind me of an episode of Eastenders. So much gratuitous violence and bad language. Yesterday, I'm pretty sure Richard got the drums again....the jammy bugger...

 er, yes .... it is all my fault peeps (very embarrassed + sheepish). I never intended to stalk / scare / bother / cause any harm to RKH .... (the fact that after Friday's debacle I actually was TOO embarrassed to turn up to "Banter" might indicate this). Please, please no one attack me or start an argument .... (I do have a tendency to answer back) ..... and it is arguments on his website that RKH dislikes the most.

you can do it here if you want, i don't think he ever looks :)

“I never intended to stalk / scare / bother / cause any harm to RKH …” Well, OK, I have to admit that perhaps I did intend to *bother* him a bit – in a kind of stupid “look at me / please notice me + my writing” foolish way - but have now ended up bothering him much more than I ever originally intended (woops).

Also I want to add that, although I was mortified with embarrassment after Friday’s debacle and being ripped to shreds, it probably was a good thing that it happened, as until someone pointed it out to me, I had been unaware of the film “The King of Comedy” but thanks to wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_King_of_Comedy_%281983_film%29) I can now see a few small similarities. (And if I hadn’t gone totally OTT on the Guestbook last Friday + had this pointed out to me, I do not know how long I would have continued, so it probably is a good thing, in a roundabout way, in the end.) After all, I am the idiot (mega idiot) who did not know (until last Friday) what the last paragraph of WU of 2 Oct 2005 (http://www.richardherring.com/warmingup/warmingup.php?id=1061) was referring to. P.S. That scenario does not appeal to me one little iota, in case I have to spell it out. P.P.S. My fantasy (and I have to admit it was a fantasy) was to appear on stage at the *same* time as RKH (in a happy friendly way), not instead of him with him tied up somewhere else – that would be STUPID ….. but I know that there is now diddly squat chance of this ever happening (due to the way I have behaved).

If I do ever use the Guestbook again (which will hopefully only be occasionally) it is likely that I will choose to use another “nom de plume” as I am aware that “Shaz / Chav / Moggy / Wannabe” has not exactly made herself very popular. (By the way “Wannabe” will definitely never appear again – Wannabe has left the building and given up - for the time being - her own comedic ambitions, although having been quite seriously ill for over a month now helped in making this decision easy.)** My middle name is Louise, although I do sometimes favour obscure “of the moment” kind of nicknames (like Eagle Eyed Pedant or Ms Embarrassed) because I would not want to be boring and predictable or anything. Again, if I do ever use the Guestbook again I hope that it would only be for fairly innocuous little comments. (I do not – and never did! – want to cause world war 3.) Lastly, I am still a Richard Herring fan (and a fan of a few other comedians – but they do not have such wonderful interactive websites!) ….. I have previously bought tickets to some of Herring’s shows, have bought all his DVDs, have supported his Scope programme fund (and would probably continue to do so in the future), and STILL love the way he writes (!!!) – godammit, there is no other better blog on the net than Warming Up!

**Oh yeah (“just one more thing” as Peter Falk would say!) I am currently officially off sick. One of the (many and various) doctors at my local practice finally decided this morning that perhaps it *might* be a good idea for me to rest from my long term bronchitis, seeing as 4 weeks of attempting to go to work while taking various pills and potions has not done any good. So the only thing I may have (vaguely) in common with self employed writers this week is that I will be able to watch “Diagnosis Murder” (and Countdown, Deal or No Deal and Richard and Judy !!!) …. but definitely not the pathetic “Doctors” which precedes Dick Van Dyke. My days off sick would be just perfect if only “Quincy” and “Columbo” were also on (please do not make me jealous by informing me if Jack Klugman and Peter Falk are currently appearing on one of the multitudinous cable and satellite channels – I do not have such things, only the 5 basic terrestrial channels).

I hope these posts have not been embarrassing (sometimes I do not realise I have embarrassed myself until a day or two later). I hope that this has simply gone some way to explaining my actions (for those of you curious enough to come and venture over here to the Forum). Please *please* do not attack me or start an argument …… I am feeling wayyyyy too fragile at the moment. Thanks.
