They are sugar coated crumbly biscuits with a coconut taste. Very nice. Hence the name.

We shall see. Perhaps the name is ironic or a cynical attempt to brainwash people into thinking that is what they are. On the other hand its fun to think they got their name from a misunderstanding about the word "nice".
