if you're trying to get me to say "Duran Duran" you'll have to try harder than that.

PMike- 08-21-2007

if you're trying to get me to say Duran Duran you'll have to try harder than that.No I won't, you just said Duran Duran.

keir- 08-21-2007

okay, i've edited it so it's in quotes so it doesn't count anymore

PMike- 08-21-2007

You can't change the past, at least without leaving record that you changed the past.

keir- 08-21-2007

your point is?

PMike- 08-21-2007

My point is that you still said Duran Duran and if my aim was to get you to say Duran Duran I had no need to try harder than I tried, which may have been not at all. Regardless of how history records this incident, we shall both know that you said Duran Duran and as we are probably the people whom this matters most to, any benefit to changing the record of the past to support your argument is superficial at best.
