Herring Live Shows
So, who's seen Rich do a live show then, and more importantly, did you go and meet the man afterwards? I remember seeing him on the final Fist of Fun tour when I was a geeky comedy loving teen (as opposed to the geeky comedy loving grown up I am now) and asking him and Stu to sign a little L&H comic strip I did. They were very obliging (Stu somewhat more so than Rich). I always thought it was cool of them both to take the time to chat to their fans though. Anyone else had the pleasure of meeting Mr Herring?

Unfortunately not. Although I did discover recently that one of the tmwrnj dates was just up the road from house. Now it would be a matter of travelling way to far. Something I can't afford at the moment :( Anyone going to Edinburgh this year?

Lazlo Woodbine- 06-17-2005

Anyone going to Edinburgh this year? Well me since you invited me.

I am. It will be my first time, how exciting. I am making sure i go to see messrs Herring and Lee's shows, amongst others.

ConstantlyBored- 06-18-2005

Ooh exciting. I'm not going in fact Lazlo, but hopefully next year. Do you know who else you're going to see yet drrickdaglessmd?

Lazlo Woodbine- 06-18-2005

I didn't know Mr. Lee had a show there too, ooh, another reason for going.

We haven't booked them yet, but the shortlist is thus: Stewart Lee Richard Herring Robin Ince Alun Cochrane John Oliver and Andy Zaltzman Chris Addison Daniel Kitson And probably others who i've forgotten. That really is too many shows as we're only going for a few days. So i understand i will have to sacrifice some.

Should be good, and I am now officially jealous.

Have you ever been to the festival before? One of our 'party' has, but the rest of us (2 of us) are Fringe virgins.

drrickdaglessmd- 06-18-2005

.... not really :?

ConstantlyBored- 06-18-2005

.... not really :? Fair enough. As in I read so much about it I feel like I know the place better than my own town. Cool how did I do that? Haha I can literally twist what people have said now.

I thought i'd had an 'episode' of sorts and typed something with my brain having no recollection of typing it. That makes sense though, i just appear to be a little slow today.
