ok, let's try to work it out - how would you feel if they were rediscovered?

PMike- 10-24-2007

Lost in a fit of blinding rage?

keir- 10-24-2007

you should probably be relieved then.

PMike- 10-29-2007

Yeah. Probably.

keir- 11-29-2007

not sure?

PMike- 11-30-2007

As sure as I can be of anything, which isn't sure.

keir- 11-30-2007

excellent - few people understand that obvious truth

PMike- 12-01-2007

Few people understand lots of things, obvious as they may be.

keir- 12-02-2007

true

Pliny The Younger- 12-02-2007

I doubt even you understand how true the statement is, not that I'm doubting anyones intelligence here, I'm just saying that a full comprehension of a generalisation is pretty much imposssible, espeicially when it encompasses everyone on the planet

PMike- 12-03-2007

What about people in aeroplanes? They're not on the planet.

keir- 12-03-2007

they are really. anyway i never claimed to have an exhaustive understanding of the statement, i believe i have an adequate one, that's enough for me to claim to understand it.

PMike- 12-03-2007

Astronauts then. And full comprehension is one of those things that is pretty much impossible anyway, for a generalisation or otherwise. Everything has a slight mystery to it, normality is only an illusion.

keir- 12-04-2007

are you reading out of a fortune cookie?

PMike- 12-05-2007

A fortune biscuit actually, the crumb patterns are that little bit more insightful.
