Once I spotted a 1, I almost literally spotted a 2,3,4 and 5 straight away. Then there was a 7 parked next to the car, but no 6 in sight. I can see how this is going to be frustrating...

I forgot to mention i saw 6 and 7 the other day in the car park at work. I just spotted 6, turned my head and the was 7 parked opposite. :) If i can just find an 8 i already know where a 9 is usually parked.

Three years in, and I'm in the final straight at last: 973. My advice as a bonafide CNPS veteran is simple: Get out, while you can folks! CNPS has taken over my life since 2002 and has left me a complete, gibbering wreck. And I can blame but one person for this. Damn you Herring! Anyone know of a 974?

I've been looking for a 149 for nearly a week. I don't want to up the sadness quotient of this thread but according to my CNPS spreadsheet (yes, spreadsheet) my projected finishing date is the 20th March 2009.

Cozza: I hope you're factoring in the gradual disappearance of traditional 1-999 number plates, meaning you will have to go deeper and deeper into rough council estates as the cars get older and older. 996 wanted, and I know locations of 997,998 & 999. Nearly there and I'll be free! FREE!

Woo! I saw an 8 today. Only 991 more to go. :?

Got a really nice 20 today. I stood up to escape the computer for a minute looked out the window and there it was smiling back at me. Still don't think I'll ever finish this though.
